I am moving to New York from Richmond, Virginia in six weeks. I can hardly express how formative my past six years in Richmond have been. For those unaquainted with the city, imagine a a derelict, historic cityscape and imbue it with youthful subcultural vitality. I relocated to Richmond from Alexandria, Virginia in the fall of 2005.
